Rooms are out dated but pretty clean. Towels were gray (needed some bleach). No bug (Very Good Thing) For the price not a bad room. Staff very nice.!

Nice clean rooms. Reasonable rates.... rooms are small tho. Front desk guy is nice. Free breakfast 6-9 am. $58 total for one bed/2 ppl. Next door to mcds. Walmart is half mile away.

Good location. There's a McDonald's next door. Reasonable price for the age of the property. They are in the process of remodeling. Just put a new roof on and new paint. Friendly staff.

We had a very nice stay. I was a little concerned while reading some of the reviews before my visit; however, when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very kind. A man even helped us carry our luggage upstairs to our room. Keep in mind, this building is dated and the decor is not modern but, the room and bathroom were clean and there were NO bugs or signs of bugs. Free breakfast. It was nothing extravagant. Cereal, pastries, and coffee. But the fact that they offered anything was nice. I would definitely stay here again!

Hey this is actually a great hotel for the money. 50$. And I think that there beds are better than the 149$ a night hotels around them in the area. I enjoy helping the little independent people. Spend a night not 100$ plus everywhere else. I'm shure glad I did. Good coffee next morning at McDonald's next door too.

i'm putting down 5 stars b/c I left my shaving kit behind and the owner called me on cell, and left it at front desk for me to retrieve before i got too far down the road. it had a prescription med in it so it was a good thing for me he bothered to call. a lot of hotels would have simply tossed it. as for the hotel, well, it's a $50 place so don't be counting on an embassy suites experience. I mean it's worth the 50 bucks and everything, but a lot of people slam these 50 dollar hotels because it's not like a $200 hyatt room or something. I'm just saying you get what you pay for, and in this case it's a 50 dollar hotel room. don't be going around slamming a $50 place like this b/c there is no big breakfast, fancy room, and/or swanky amenities. if you do then you are a loser.

We had an emergency at our home and had to stay here. We are still here waiting for the house to be fixed.the room is spacious & clean huge bathroom I'm disabled so getting into a bathtub is really hard at home the tub side is up & I have a hard time getting my legs over the tub & feeling safe but at my house I've slipped because of how high it is at Magnum I have no such fear I was very comfortable and it felt great I didn't want to get out of the tub !!!!!! The bathroom had a shower chair in the bathroom so to me that lets me know they are thinking about disabled people & looking out for them.housekeeping is very nice & polite and respectful, answers questions & concerns if there are any ( there were no concerns) management and the owners are all very nice & friendly very attentive & effecient with what they do !!!!! I will have been here 10 whole days at checkout on Tuesday barring nothing else happening !!!! Good hotel great people I would definitely come back anytime & recommend this hotel to family and friends !!!!!!!!!

Our room was very clean (just a few ants in the bathroom but we took care of that). They saved our butt when another hotel we had made reservations with in Martin decided all of a sudden we could not stay with our dogs who are well behaved, trained and crated when we leave the room! ! We stayed 2 nights and we got to go to my daughter's ceremony at UTM which meant the world to us. I will definitely stay here again whenever we go to visit my daughter and her fiance'!!!! Very nice people!!!!
